Alegro Private Tours Cancellation Policies

You must initiate a cancellation by telephone to the Alegro Private Tours office at +1 (415) 668-1864 or by email to pep@alegroprivatetours.com. We acknowledge each cancellation by email.

In certain cases you may be eligible to receive a full or partial refund. It depends on several factors:
 

  • Reason for your cancellation
  • Number of days of prior to the start of your tour we receive your cancellation request
  • Amount expended by Alegro Private Tours to prepare for your tour
  • Cancellation policy that applies (large groups, small groups, cancellation by the tour operator)

 
Alegro Private Tours is not responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred as a result of the purchase of your tour such as visas, vaccinations, nonrefundable flights, loss of enjoyment, etc.

Standard Cancellation Policy

Large Group Tours

If you cancel 14 days or more before the start of the tour: No cancellation fee.

We will refund the amount paid less any nonrecoverable upfront costs incurred by the tour operator on your behalf. These upfront costs represent out-of-pocket expenses for tickets, transportation deposits and other nonrecoverable tour expenses. Please send a message to Alegro Private Tours to find out what, if any, these costs are.

Small Group Tours

If you cancel 7 days or more before the start of the tour: No cancellation fee.

We will refund the amount paid less any nonrecoverable upfront costs incurred by the tour operator on your behalf. These upfront costs represent out-of-pocket expenses for tickets, transportation deposits, and other nonrecoverable tour expenses. Please send a message to Alegro Private Tours to find out what, if any, these costs are.

In Case of Cancellation by Alegro Private Tours

In some cases, Alegro Private Tours may cancel a tour due to weather or other circumstance. In the event that the tour operator cancels the tour, you may choose between rescheduling of the tour, a full refund of all monies paid, or a credit toward an alternative tour. If you choose to accept a credit, any difference in cost of the alternative tour will be refunded to or paid by you, as applicable.
